The Role
As a Language Educator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and working alongside team of educators to provide high-quality care and education for 3-5 year old children to discover their world while discovering the joy of another language
  • Building and maintaining positive and trusting relationships with the children, families, and staff members
  • Implementing education and care programs that meet the holistic needs of the individual child as part of a community through weekly programming and children's observations
  • Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures, Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Framework
  • Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals

About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • Completed Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Recent Child Protection Training/Safeguarding
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
  • Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Australian unrestricted working rights
